The Ólafsfjörður course is the most northerly one in the country, a 9-hole course located high up in the mouth of Skeggjabrekkudalur, south-west of the village, with a magnificent view down over the village and out over the fjord. It is the ideal place for a game by the Midnight Sun. Golfers may be interested to note that there are several other courses to choose from close by: at Lónkot on Höfðaströnd, Dalvíkur and Akureyri.
